Taiwan OELP

{ May, 2014 }

For my school's Overseas Experiential Learning Program (OELP) at the end of May, I visited Taiwan! I've been to Taiwan twice when I was kinda young and I only went to Taipei, but this time I visited Taichung and Hsinchu as well!

I really gotta say the experience there was really fun, especially since I got to go there with my class. I got to understand many of my classmates even more and we really bonded a lot! Sigh it's just saddening that we only have a few months left together as 2L'14 :-(

Okay I basically blogged this whole thing with my cid group SELFIEBOJIO (selfiebojio.blogspot.sg) and all my photos are already on facebook so this is basically a short overview of the whole trip. With more of my face HAHA since my was job was a photographer and I basically didn't appear in much photos.

Selfie at the airport before the flight. With Gladys Claudia Jingyan and Esther.

The meal on the plane..

I swear I finally watched Miracle in Cell No. 7 on the plane (the movie exo watched until almost all of them cried) I SWEAR IT'S ONE OF THE SADDEST MOVIES I HAVE EVER WATCHED LOL and I was sitting in between Esther and Minhui crying like a mad fool. But the movie was really really sad hais...it's really a great movie! can make me cry!

After watching Miracle in Cell No. 7, I watched moon that embraces the sun on Minhui's iPad. Damn it I really wanted to watch that drama, and You who came from the stars (maybe cuz of kim soohyun HAHA) but I totally didn't have the time. Aish.

Okay this is selfiebojio's selfie. The name was really impromptu lol, I forgot how we even got it. But I think we damn swag. So whatever lol.

Hsinchu: National Experimental High School

For the school immersion we visited National Experimental High School in Hsinchu. I think quite elite de. And my buddy Natalie is sooooo friendly to me.

LOLOL this guy whose eng name is 'Leader' I think he damn funny. Emily forced me to take a photo with him man but whatever I just think he's humorous. I look like shit.

One of the best things we did during the boring nights at the hotel was to crash other people's room! Hehe crashed Petra and Gabbie's room for a 牛肉面 party!

Also got to celebrate Gladys' birthday and Sharlene's early birthday!

Aiyo sleepyheads in the bus...

Gabbie and I coincidentally had the same windbreaker-rain jacket! Just a different colour. We look like bald babies here HHAHAH.

I actually had my own little mission, to take selfies with everyone before OELP ends so....

Selfie with Xingjian!

Selfie with Hongyang. So tall.

Actually this is damn funny on one of the days many of us wore grey t shirts. This is just four of us from the grey team HAHA.

Taichung: Formosa Aboriginal Cultural Village

Went to Fengjia Night Market too! All the food damn good and quite cheap too.

Fried squid and it's damn good.

Releasing the sky lantern with selfiebojio..

Well I basically only mentioned all the fun parts of the trip, but of course lah! Too sian to talk about all the educational component bye all the daily reflections I had to squeeze my brain juice to give 'maturity into thoughts' lol erm. I guess I really had a fun time at Taiwan, sigh, 7 days was fast.

Last photo taken with the banner, at the airport with our tourguide Uncle Jeff. He's a really nice guy. Sigh. His goodbye 'speech' on the bus almost made me cry.

  1. CORONA VIRUS
Tiny infectious particles consisting of RNA or DNA surrounded by protein.
Viruses can reproduce only by injecting their genetic material into the cells of living creatures.
Although scientists frequently refer to viruses as live or dead, in fact no virus is truly alive.
It doesn’t eat like animals do, or make its own food the way plants do.
